As part of our ongoing CSR initiatives, we were proud to attend Cansfield High School’s Careers Fair in October 2024, where our Director, Antony Grace, had the opportunity to engage with students about their future pathways.

We are truly grateful for the support of ASH Integrated Services at our Careers Fair evening on 17th October 2024.
These events rely upon employers from the world of work giving up and volunteering their time to come and speak with our students about their future careers and aspirations.
A number of our students spoke about how their ‘ideas,’ ‘mindset,’ and ‘aspirations’ had literally changed after speaking with Antony.
Alongside exceptional knowledge of the industry as a whole, the way conversations were tailored with enthusiasm, passion, and energy made a difference to our students and still resonate with them today.
We have had a number talking about aspects relating to mechanical, plumbing, heating, and electrical services in their career advisor meetings and lessons since, all of which were discussed on the night expertly with Antony.”

Engaging with Young People Matters
The transition from education to employment can be daunting for students. By attending career events like this, we want to:
Broaden Horizons – Many students are unaware of the diverse career paths available in industries like mechanical, electrical, and renewable energy.
Inspire Confidence – Real conversations with professionals help students feel more prepared and excited about their future.
Create Lasting Impact – As Cansfield High School highlighted, these conversations spark real interest, leading students to explore new career options in their lessons and advisory meetings.
Our Commitment to the Next Generation
This event is just one example of how ASH Integrated Services supports young people. We provide mentorship, mock interviews, career talks, and apprenticeships to support students. This helps them take their first steps toward rewarding careers in engineering and building services.
Antony’s conversations inspired students at Cansfield High School, and we are incredibly proud of his impact. We look forward to continuing our work with schools across the region.
