Recently, our co-director, Antony, has been actively engaging with local schools and colleges. He has been dedicating his time to conducting mock interviews for students.
Supporting The Next Generation
We loved working alongside Standish Community High School with students that are now applying for post 16 options. Their future should be at the forefront of their minds.
Through these sessions, students gain valuable experience and insight into real-world professional environments, helping them build confidence and develop new life skills.
This event in particular provided a great opportunity to hone their interview skills in a more professional realistic environment.
Antony said, “Supporting this initiative means as a company we’re standing by our core values of community involvement and professional development, ensuring that young talent understands the rewarding careers available in engineering.”
Each student was scored on their approach to the sessions, taking into account their attitude and how they presented themselves and even down to the basics of whether or not they could hold a conversation.
Feedback on their interview was then given back to each student to help them when they come to real world scenarios which were designed to help them improve their chances of success.
